petrol engines benefit from advanced technologies such as 4 valves per cylinder and
ECI-MULTI electronically controlled multi-point fuel injection. |

2.8-litre turbo-diesel The 2.8-litre diesel with
intercooled turbocharger features excellent fuel efficiency with low emissions,
low-maintenance durability, and smooth, quiet performance. A new cyclone-type pre-air
cleaner increases intake of air while reducing that of dirt and water. |

INVECS-II uses two control logic programmes to
suit individual driving styles. In Optimum Shift Control, the on-board
computer monitors throttle, speed and braking, then automatically selects the gear
and shift-timing ideal for the situation. Adaptive Shift Control monitors
individual driving preferences, then adapts shift-timing to suit the driver's
